Billing & Refund Policy

This Billing & Refund Policy explains how subscriptions to Bearing Plus are priced, billed, renewed, cancelled, and refunded. It is part of, and incorporated into, the Bearing Life Terms of Service, and uses the same defined terms. Bearing Life is operated by P2 Reserve LLC ("Bearing Life," "we," "us," or "our").

If anything in this policy conflicts with the rules of the app store you bought through (the Apple App Store or Google Play), that store's rules control for that purchase.

1. Bearing Plus and the Free Trial

Bearing Life is offered through a paid subscription, Bearing Plus. What's included without a subscription is shown in the app before you pay.

• Joining a care circle someone else owns is free. People you invite do not pay to join. They pay only if they create their own care circle or invite their own people.
• Bearing Plus is $12.99 per month, with no free trial, or $99.99 per year, with a 14-day free trial. It gives you full access to Bearing Life. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any taxes, which may be added at checkout.
• One possible offer. If you end a free trial or leave without subscribing, or turn off auto-renew, we may offer you a reduced first month on the monthly plan, App Store only. The price is shown before you buy.

14-day free trial (yearly plan only). New subscribers to the yearly plan can start Bearing Plus with a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid yearly Bearing Plus subscription at $99.99 per year, charged to your store account. You will not be charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends: on Apple, in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; on Google Play, in the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

We may change Plus pricing or which features are included. Any price change applies to future billing periods only and will be disclosed to you before it takes effect, as described in Section 6.

2. How You Are Billed

Bearing Plus is an auto-renewing in-app subscription, sold through the app store you downloaded from (the Apple App Store or Google Play). When you subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your store account (your Apple ID, or your Google account on Google Play) at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews for the same period (monthly or yearly, matching the plan you chose) at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• The app store charges the renewal to your store account within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can view and manage the subscription, including the renewal date and price, in your store's subscription settings (on Apple, Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; on Google Play, the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).

Because the purchase is processed by the app store, the store, not Bearing Life, handles your payment, billing records, and receipts. Your purchase is also subject to that store's terms (for example, Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions on the App Store, or the Google Play terms).

3. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel Bearing Plus at any time, through the app store you bought it from. On the App Store, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, find this app, and tap Cancel Subscription. On Google Play, open the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select this app, and tap Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal.

Deleting the Bearing Life app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your app store's subscription settings.

4. What Happens When You Cancel Mid-Cycle

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, not immediately.

• You keep full access to Bearing Plus until the end of the period you have already paid for. For example, on the monthly plan, if you are billed on the 5th and cancel on the 20th, your Plus access continues through the next 5th, then stops; on the yearly plan, it continues to your next yearly renewal date.
• When the period ends, your subscription does not renew, the charges stop, and Bearing Plus ends.
• We do not provide partial or prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. Cancelling part-way through a billing period does not trigger a refund for the remaining days; instead, you keep Plus for those days.

When your subscription ends, your data is kept, not deleted. Depending on your account, access is locked or returns to what is available without a subscription, as shown in the app. You can resubscribe or restore a purchase at any time. To delete your account or data entirely, use the app's Settings → Account → Delete account option, or Delete my account on the locked screen.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled by the app store you purchased through, under that store's policies, and we do not receive your payment details. For an App Store purchase, Apple alone handles refunds under Apple's policies, and we cannot grant, deny, or process them. For a Google Play purchase, Google Play's policies apply, and Google may route your request to us; where it does, we will consider it under this policy and applicable law.

To request a refund for a Bearing Plus charge:

• App Store purchase. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, or open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (or your Apple receipt email) and follow Apple's "Report a Problem" flow.
• Google Play purchase. Request a refund through your Google Play order history, or contact us at info@trybearinglife.com and we will consider it under this policy.

Apple decides refund requests at its sole discretion based on its own policies and applicable law. Approval is not guaranteed, and Apple's decision is final for App Store purchases.

Statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you have that cannot be waived under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Where the law gives you a mandatory right to a refund, that right still applies.

6. Price Changes and Renewal Reminders

If we change the price of Bearing Plus, the new price applies to billing periods after the change. The app store will notify you of a price increase and, where required, ask you to agree to the new price before it takes effect. If you do not agree, your subscription will not renew at the higher price. We may also send reminders about upcoming renewals where required by law or app-store rules.

7. Failed Payments and Lapsed Subscriptions

If a renewal payment fails, the app store may retry the charge under its billing-retry rules. If payment is not collected, your Bearing Plus subscription will lapse and Bearing Plus will end. Depending on your account, access is locked or returns to what is available without a subscription, as shown in the app. Your data is kept, not deleted, and you can resubscribe at any time at the then-current price, restore a purchase, or delete your account.

8. Direct Purchases (If Offered in the Future)

Bearing Plus is not currently sold directly by us (for example, through our website). If and when we offer a direct subscription that we bill ourselves:

• It will auto-renew on the same recurring basis until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid period. You will keep Plus until then, and we will not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a period.
• Any refund terms specific to direct purchases will be presented to you at checkout before you are charged, and this policy will be updated to describe them.

Until we expressly offer direct billing, Sections 2 through 7 govern Bearing Plus purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

9. Taxes

Prices shown may not include sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes. Where we or the app store are required to collect tax, it will be added to your total at the applicable rate for your location.

10. Governing Law and Contact

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, consistent with the Bearing Life Terms of Service, and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under the law that applies to you.
